DASLOGIS – consortium leader TNOResearch
DAta Space for LOGIStics (DASLOGIS) – TNO
The Dutch TKI Dinalog project “Industry 4.0 driven Supply Chain Coordination for Small- & Medium-sized Enterprises” aims to increase the competitiveness of the Dutch logistics sector through the increased introduction and use of Industry 4.0-related technologies in combination with advanced real-time data analysis to improve.
In this CrossCountry project, 4PL Intermodal shows in its own USE case how a secure handling of sensitive data is guaranteed using different data sources.
The aim of this use case is to create an environment in which container ETA data can be exchanged between organizations within the network on a peer-to-peer basis:
- without the need for a central agent for the collection and orchestration of the distribution of the container data,
- with a single access point for both providers and users of container ETA data to the federated ETA environment:
- Providing controlled access between the affiliated organizations and
- to prevent each organization from having to work individually with each provider or user of container ETA data, which leads to an “open marketplace / exchange for container ETA data”.
This environment / open marketplace is known as the “Federated Environment for Exchange of Container ETA Data”.

Questions and answers on research and development
The bases of the calculation are subject to the scientific criteria. Here, DIN 16258: 2011 is a guideline for calculation and evaluation.
Yes, IMSLOT is being used productively by a steadily growing number of very well-known representatives of the intermodal transport industry. Due to the complex tasks in the transport sector, we grow consciously step by step and always with our partners and clients. In addition, IMSLOT modules are also used in research projects.
As a start-up, we at 4PL Intermodal can experimentally apply and test new ideas and technical prototypes. In addition to the necessary know-how, we and our team are also interested in continuous further development. We create all the prerequisites for this. In this way the greatest possible success of the tasks in the projects is conceptually given and has also been achieved to date.
In addition, with its platform economy and technical support, 4PL Intermodal has the necessary resources to provide the research institutions with ideal conditions.
